Heritage Tour - England
August 9-18, 2026
Our Bolling family members and relatives are thrilled with the specially created tour that has been carefully designed to include all DNA groups. With our first 4 nights in London, we’ll explore all the traditional iconic sites, including Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Tower of London...but also the site of Bolling worship during the 1700’s at All Hallows Church by The Tower. How exciting to see the birth and marriage records
of some of our ancestors, as well as those of other early American
leaders.
Beyond London we’ll stop at Greenwich for an opportunity to stand in the middle of, or straddle, the Zero Meridian Line located at the Royal Observatory. Take time to visit the Clock Museum where our current Time Zones were first created. From there we continue on to St. George’s Church, where a statue of Pocahontas commemorates her life, as well as the time she spent in London.
You’ll love our drive through the beautiful Cotswold area, overnight at Stratford, and our 3 nights in the Bradford area. How exciting it will be to tour Bolling Hall, the earliest home of the Bolling family, which dates from 1086 & is mentioned in the historic Domesday Book. Additionally, we visit the site of the War of the Roses where our ancestors fought in 1470. This tour also gives us the rare opportunity to visit other early family sites, including Skipton Castle, Chellow, and Calverly Church and township.
So don’t miss out! We still have a few rooms left. Call Carol right away to secure a place for yourself and your relatives while the opportunity still exists. The tour rate is $3,500 per person, based on 2 to a room, and our group airfare on British Airways is $1,130. Carol has all the details: carol.s@travelstore.com
