Military connections to this family

I can trace my family line to Benjamin Bolling, family group 3. I am trying to find if there are any military connections to the Rev War or the Civil War to this family. I am looking for anyone who served in either war.

origin of Benjamin Bolling, 1734-1832, died Flat Gap, VA

For the BFA Reunion Oct. 2013, Robert Collier Bowling sent a letter written by Dora Bowling, born 1881 and descendant of Benjamin (through Jesse Bowling, then Elijah Ligeher father) stating that family lore said that Jesse had immigrated from Scotland to Virginia at the age of 9. Does anyone have any information on the Benjamin's Scottish heritage or any Bollings from Scotland?

Group 3-Benjamin (1734-1832) and Jesse (1758-1841)

Robert Collier Bowling thinks Jesse could have been the brother or nephew of Benjamin, instead of the son. Please respond here if you have any information on the Scottish origins of Benjamin or Jesse. In particular,we are seeking a record of Benjamin or Jesse's arrival in the New World.

Charles Bowling around 1753 1849 (group 6)

I am the 3 times granddaughter of Charles Bowling born Prince George/Westmoreland Co/Stafford Co., Va
around 1754, died in 1849 in Fairfield Co. Ohio.  He had a brother named William and they both
served in the Revolutionary War.   His son William Stanton(sp)  moved to Iowa and I spring from that group.
Any one out there know anything about Charles's parents parents?  On Ancestry.com many say it is
John/wife Ursula Bolling but I believe that is incorrrect.  That John does not seem to be from Group 6.

Any Help out there?
